Working at Height and Rescue

Leading on from our Basic Working at Height course. Working at Height and Rescues is a one day, theory and practical course. Developing the knowledge and skills taught in the Working at Height Course, it will cover all the relevant regulations and legislation of the Work at Height Regulations (WAH) 2005 and conforms to BS8454 for industrial working at height training. In addition, the course will give the candidates experience with several different ‘pre packed’ working at height rescue kits used in industry.

All candidates must be able to operate in an ‘at height’ environment.

Note: If your company uses a specific brand or type of kit, please let us know prior to the course so we can ensure one is available to use for your students.

The course syllabus includes: Regulations and Legislation; Type of Working at Height Environment; Basic Equipment for working at Height; Collective Measures for Risk Management; Individual Measures for Risk Management; Moving Safely on Structures; Emergency Procedures; Pre Rigged Rescue Kits; Pulley Systems; Practical Use of Rescue Kits; Practical Assessment of WAH skills.
